The model of green business is here - Book Review Business
These days everyone wants to be a green entrepreneur. Everyone talks about the creation of environmentally friendly businesses, alternative energy, and showing how we can use capitalism to make the world a better place. This is very interesting, but in reality there is nothing new. People have talked about this sort of thing for many decades. Fortunately for them, has permeated all sectors of business, as well as venture capital and investment banking realm.
Because the taxpayer has also voted to have the government spend more on alternative energy initiatives and fund green projects. If this interests you and you want to know a bit 'of history, I would recommend a book that is almost 2 years now. What I have on the shelves of my library business, and one that I think you should read. The name of the book;
"The Green entrepreneur, business opportunities that can save the Earth and make money," by Gustav Berle, Tab Book Publishers, Inc., 1991, (200pp) ISBN: 978-080306-0600-9
"Who are the polluters?" Berle asked in the first chapter, and what are the alternatives? The following chapters discuss other alternative sources of energy such as solar, wind, geothermal, biomass, hydroelectric and nuclear. He also suggests that we need better recycling programs, although he admits that recycling alone will not be enough.
Spend some 'time to speak to the Environmental Protection Agency, the Federal Clean Water Act, EPA and the Federal Clean Air Act in the U.S., as well as the EPA, Europe and China. He also suggests that eco-entrepreneurs can make a difference and cites some examples of things that are done in Europe as the right approach, such as Germany, four-day work week.
Finally, there is talk of helping Third World countries and emerging markets in particular that feed the world. In fact, this was a very good book and uses a free-market approach to solve the environmental problems of our time. I hope that you should do it .......
