Tattoo safety

Tattoos process involves the needles that penetrate the outermost layers of the skin, security and good sense are the most important consideration.

A legitimate, well-trained tattooist follows strict health guidelines and is willing to answer all your questions about tattooing procedures and concerns.

The main fear most people express about getting tattooed is that they can contract the HIV virus that can cause AIDS. In fact, HIV is just one of many viruses that can be transmitted. Syphilis, tuberculosis, strep, staph, and hepatitis are just some of the other diseases to be taken into account. Yes, you could get this disease from a needle tattoo.

How many activities, the tattoo is potentially dangerous, but by minimizing or eliminating the potential danger is extraordinarily difficult. In fact, the strict code of practices takes every safety measure so the risk of transmission of HIV or other diseases is virtually nonexistent.

A qualified tattooist have and use a real steam pressure autoclave - an autoclave is the only reliable means of sterilization recognized by the Centers for Disease Control. Alcohol, bleach, and ultrasonic cleaning do not sterilize instruments, but only clean them before autoclaving.

Your tattoo artist should wear disposable rubber gloves during the tattooing procedure. All items such as ointment spreaders and tea towels should be disposable as well. The tattoo artist tattoo studio and equipment and work area must be absolutely clean and sanitary.

Also make sure that every customer gets a new set of needles, and the tattooist dips the needle into a small cap full of pigment from a large bottle. If the needle is immersed in a large jar or a bottle of pigment, you are sharing bodily fluids with other people who were tattooed with that batch of pigment.

When it comes to tattoo safety, use common sense as well:

It is the study of tattoo clean?

Tattoo Supplies are kept in a sterile containers with lids?

If the tattooist wash hands a lot?

If the tattooist use latex gloves when working on other clients? and do tattooist change gloves when they touch something different during the procedure?

Take responsibility for your own health and well-being! ......
