Philippines Outsourcing expected in 2008
Much has happened in 2007, is mixed with scenes of good and bad. Investment continues to be a big wave, despite the political bickering that can not be put aside. Despite the odds' in business in the Philippines, the country continues to spread his wings and earn the reputation of potential foreign investors. The Philippine government obstruction of evidence to survive the economic dilemma of last year, but ready to face the new year.
In line with this, one of the most talked about prospects for the economy of the Philippines is about the outsourcing industry. The question is, what if the weather in this area will be the current year and beyond. Contact center has helped millions of pesos, as recorded by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), and other government agencies. Graduates easily landed on a job that offers opportunities for the Filipino people. And 'exceptional knowledge of English language proficiency and outstanding customer service are among the reasons why Filipinos are known for this.
Based on the 10-point agenda highlighted by President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, and to quote: "The creation of six million jobs in six years via more opportunities to entrepreneurs, tripling the size of loans for loans to small and medium enterprises and the development of one or two million hectares of land for farms. "
It means to say that the Philippine government wanted to build Filipinos without jobs because of outsourcing jobs. A call center in the Philippines is known to be the answer to the crisis that the main concerns of all governmental agencies of local and national scene. Mrs. Arroyo has vowed to strengthen the activities of companies world-class call center in the country.
However, if the government is serious about his plan then eliminate, or intensified drive against graft and corruption should be done accordingly. If the country has intensified its campaign against this war, we will protect the benefits of economic boom due to the activities of the largest call center companies in the country.
The Government has now promised to undertake a campaign against graft and corruption intensified to ensure that the benefits of economic growth would trickle down to people, especially the poor, unmarred by corrupt practices. To demonstrate this campaign, members of the Cabinet led by His Excellency proposed the Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (pagC) to crack down on swindlers, including the issuance of the Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act No. 9485 or the Anti-Law Red Tape in 2007.
The President signed RA 9485 last June 2. RA 9485 declares that the heads of government offices are responsible for services to the public in making rapid, efficient, economical and reliable. It also requires agencies concerned to act on pending documents within five working days involving simple operations, and a minimum of 10 days for complex cases.
Another important action taken by the government was the call for the immediate passage of right to Information Act, Whistleblowers Act and House Bill 3003. The HB 3003 seeks to compel the government to release the tax returns of all government officials, whether elected or appointed, in a move to reduce if not eradicate corruption.
This is a good development because it shows that the national government is concerned about the protection of investors, no matter what happened. If the country is an investor-friendly and then giving the opportunity to tie the relationship in terms of business will be a great customer service.
Meanwhile, it is also attractive for investors to call the center if there are enough budget allocated for the year 2008. In addition, the President appealed to Congress for passage of proposed PhP1.227 trillion national budget for 2008 the time as soon as possible.
The immediate passage does not hinder the delay in implementing the priority projects and programs of the government.
However, news has revealed that Congress did not approve the proposed PhP1.227 trillion 2008 budget before he went to his room on Christmas this past December, the Senate questioned the amount of P13.5 billion presumably inserted by the House of Representatives.
Breakdown of national allocation proposed for 2008 is P91 billion higher than the 2007 general appropriations of P1.126 trillion. Allocation of P1.227 trillion, P11.5 billion to finance infrastructure projects mentioned by the President in his State-of-the-Nation Address.
It 'been addressed that the national budget, will focus on priority areas such as infrastructure, education, health, science and technology, including housing and salary adjustments for state workers.
With the presentation dealt with previously, it just means that the outsourcing industry will remain as one of the sources of revenues in excess of the country. If national leaders will stick to their promises, there is no doubt that in the shortest allotted time, the country will reap the fruit of his labor. And also, the country will continue to strengthen its honor as a major leader in the outsourcing industry .......
