Legislated morality - good or bad?

I am sick and tired of censorship and legislated morality. This country should be free! Founders of our country knew that freedom meant the separation of church and state. Two hundred and thirty years later, in many states and counties in this nation, it is illegal to buy beer on Sunday, for the purchase of an X-rated movies, or sell a toy for adults. If something is harmful to others, should be controlled by legislation, that is, driving under the influence of alcohol or even smoke in public area. I still can not believe that is anywhere close to being as harmful as they try to make us believe. If you do not damage others' property, or persons, then there should be no law against it.

Using the Federal, State, City or County Police under laws governing the conduct should be illegal. I do not care if it's against your religious beliefs, moral principals, or to consume alcoholic beverages on Sunday. Well, no problem, do not drink. It is against my morals to drink a beer on Sunday, so why can not I buy one? If I like seeing naked women, who are you to tell me that I can not! I am an adult, I like things adults. It got so bad, that the adult word is now synonymous with bad word. Adult movies, adult toys, adult parties, could be mistaken for dirty movies, toys, dirty, dirty, and parties.

Look, I do not want you're seven years old boy exposed to pornography. Today technology is able to prevent children from turning on a certain channel, or find a website improper. And the parents' responsibility to ensure these devices are safe for their children, not the responsibility of governments to monitor the material.

There is a difference between morality and ethics. Morality is a solution covered in spontaneous situations, ethics shine from out of spontaneous, spontaneous solutions to situations. In other words, morality is dictated by others to cover situations in our lives and are general in nature. Ethics is what you know is right or wrong in your mind. You have the power to decide whether something is right for you are not. In a society that believes in freedom of choice, we should not have the freedom to decide whether something violates our ethics?

Adult shops that sell adult toys and pornography are often closed with a force of armed police. Their property is seized, are fined, and the owners and employees are often jailed, thousands of taxpayer dollars are spent, for what? No children have entered the shop. No one was injured. No one is forced to view material that does not want to see. In reality, what is most likely to happen is the following:

A couple finds a new way to add spice to their marriage, and consequently have a better sex life.
A single person is able to find some joy.
A woman who never experienced an orgasm, now has one.
A person with a disorder or disability may find gratification.
A marriage is saved.
A rape is perceived. (Several studies in places where it is allowed to have porn rape cases much lower)
Vibrators have been around since the ancient Greeks. Couples and women used them to improve their sex lives. Vibrators have been around since 1800. Doctors used to prescribe to women. This whole story and we still have no indication that these devices have caused serious injury to a person, anyones property, family, or society.

A woman was recently arrested in Texas because it was hosting Passion Parties Home. These parties are only frequented by adults who have knowledge of what is sold. No children are exposed, are held in the privacy of someones house. She was arrested because his Texas law prohibits the use of to explain some of these devices. Now has a record of arrest because he was helping couples improve their love life. What is the crime?

Someone along the way, with weight enough decided that this was immoral or contrary to their principals. They made a crime. They have turned this woman into a criminal. I respect your morals and ethics, if you find these offensive, then do not go to stores for adults, do not go to parties, passion, do something different. Allow us our freedom of ethics.

Some of these laws of morality do not involve adult themed items. In South Carolina and elsewhere, have the Blue Law. The law prevents a citizen Blu buying anything, before noon, which is not on the list of exceptions. For example, if you want to paint my house, I'm not allowed to buy the painting until after noon on Sunday. If you want to run into a Walmart to buy a swimsuit, so I can go swimming on a hot summer Sunday, I'll have to wait until the clock reads 12:01. Why? Because someone decided that we should be in church on Sunday, so they tried to create legislation to force us out of the shops until the church is finished. Sounds like the separation of church and state for you?

For all that do-gooders who want to impose their morality on others by using the police force governments, shame on you! This is exactly how Hitler was able to commit genocide. Has legislated its moral convictions. It 's so that the Inquisition killed, or tortured many innocent people. They have legislated their beliefs and moral principles. The Romans killed Christians to legislate their beliefs too moral. In the Middle Ages, scientists have been arrested, tortured and even executed because they tried to teach that the sun was the center of the solar system out, and that was against the traditional moral belief. Throughout history, legislating morality has only opened the door for dictators and more zealous do-gooders to inflict pain and suffering of the innocent. Do not you trust your ethics?

How do they get away with it? Because too many of us keep your mouth shut. We need our contacts at the church or the local school and do not want anyone to think that you can participate in everything that is frowned upon. And 'because of our desire for privacy in these things that we do not talk. And 'because we want to participate in mainstream society. (Although half-minded to do, and do not speak for the same reason) Those who want our freedom can only endure some embarrassment in order to protect the rights of our forefathers gave us. Considering that many have given their lives for these or other rights, I do not think a little 'embarrassment is such a high cost.

It 's time to talk, be heard! They have a bigger voice because they are organized by churches and schools, and use their political power on the legislators. We need to organize and let our government officials know that we will not tolerate the legislation of morality! We demand our freedom, and we want our rights protected, we want our ethics!

Theirs was a man. He wanted to publish a magazine that took pictures of naked women. Moral law has tried to stop him, took his fight to the Supreme Court to win his right to publish his magazine. He did so despite the personal cost. Financial costs, of course, but cost more was when he lost the ability to walk when he was shot by a benefactor moral, on the steps of the courthouse Lawrenceville Georgia. He did not give up. He wheels in the Supreme Court and was able to win his right to publish Hustler Magazine.

Now, I do not like Hustler, is a bit 'too explicit for my taste. I do not care for the way he treats the woman, then do not buy it. Does that mean I should publish it? True. I do not think it should be published, though, I would die to defend Hustlers right to publish the magazine. If their is not a market, then it will not sell, and the company will go away. If free enterprise does not have it, then their is a market for this. If their is a market for it, who the hell has the right to legislate that should not be allowed!

I ask you to do-gooders they stop trying to legislate morality and principles. Stop turning people into criminals just because they have different ethical beliefs.

Did not work for the ban. Has not stopped prostitution. He has not stopped the use of drugs. It merely followed this dangerous underground activity. Places that have legalized prostitution, does not have the difficulties we have, where prostitution is illegal.

Our prisons are full of people who have not committed any act of violence. Their only crime is a different standard. Their crime is trying to live their life the way they want to live them. Legislating morality has made a lot of criminals really rich. You have provided a way for people violent, and really offensive to earn a living. Lifting ban to end the era gangster. We put an end to this crime on the run, take the profit from real criminals. We stop spending billions on police, courts, jails, prisons, and only because of people who have a different lifestyle and different ethics. Stop legislating morality, give us the freedom to follow our ethics. If I do not harm another person, if I do not hurt anyones property then I would have the right to pursuit of happiness and guide my life through my ethics.
