Types of pavement recycling
The recycling firm, is a technique that uses and reuses the pavement. The asphalt recycling technique can be done in two ways:
On site: The site asphalt recycling is done by separating the material and mixing with a binder or transported and employed elsewhere. This type of recycling is used to old or badly deteriorated pavements that have a very strong shattered. On the ground: the technique of asphalt in plan, is to move the asphalt mixture has been removed from the firm to a plant where they are mixed with hot bitumen virgin acid to cause the mixture of 30% recycled material.
Each type of technique has its advantages, depending on how the field, choose one or the other. The in situ technique need not be more economical transport. Also consume less energy and less discomfort originate with the truck carrying it.
In contrast, the in-plant recycling technique can be done in various ways, depending on the manufacturing facilities exist.
The advantage here is that the mixture is more quality, more expensive inconvenience.
The technical purpose of recycling is to recover the properties of the material is milled and even improve them if possible. The properties to be recovered include structural capacity, resistance to water action and resistance to fatigue.
